TIMBERBOND
RESTORES DAMAGED WOOD UTILITY POLES
Wood utility poles represent the greatest portion of a utility provider's assets. Unfortunately, damage to wood poles by woodpeckers, termites, lightning and similar causes can shorten their useful lifespan. Replacing timber utility poles is expensive, not only due to the cost of materials and labor, but power downtime as well. Repairing and maintaining wooden utility poles with TimberBond is a cost-effective way to restore a pole's integrity and extend its operational life. TimberBond is available in two formulations.
TWO FORMULATIONS TO MEET A VARIETY OF REPAIR NEEDS
TimberBond NSG
TimberBond NSG is a high strength two component formula that is the fastest, cleanest, most economical wood pole restoration and maintenance system available. It features exclusive non-leak and non-sag characteristics, that leaves little need for external preparations. Use TimberBond NSG for internal and exterior damage, as well as pole capping to insure long term pole integrity.
TimberBond VFG
TimberBond VFG is a high strength two component formula that has a lower viscosity than TimberBond NSG. It's primary use is for deeper penetration in areas of known decay or inaccessible debris. Use initially in the restoration process, then complete the repair with TimberBond NSG.
USE TIMBERBOND
TO SEAL THE POLE CAP
Timberbond is an effective product to repair end grain splitting, rotting or deterioration at the top of wood utility poles.
Timberbond is easily applied and will create a permanent watertight seal while also filling and strengthening any cracks and voids.
Many utility companies will apply Timberbond to the pole cap before installation to prevent weather related pole damage.
