PROPAIL OPTIONS
The problem with using standard gallon jugs.
You've seen them, they look like the jugs that hold windshield washer fluid. First off, these jugs are flimsy and can be easily punctured during shipping. Second, they have to be shipped in a box, but, finding the perfect box to protect the product and meet shipping guidelines is problematic at best.
Then if the product uses a 2:1 ratio, the box weight will be off balance, or multiple boxes have to be used. This is both costly and can result in extra handling, and raises the potential for misplaced shipments.
Then, it is cost prohibitive to ship a mixing pail and mixer because those require another box. So, the customer is left to fend for themselves to buy a mixer and mixing pail. Not a great customer experience.
How PROPAIL solves 2-part chemical packaging problems.
PROPAIL was designed for use with a two-part expanding foam product called Secure Set. When we first sold that product we experienced all of the problems listed above and kept thinking there had to be a better way.
The majority of our customers were lineman for utility companies. They provided us with great feedback on the issues they faced on a daily basis: The boxes didn't stack well in the warehouse; They couldn't be stored on the outside of the truck because they would fall apart if they got wet; The lineman would often get to a job site and realize something was missing - one part of the product, a mixer or even the right size pail.
Their feedback led us to develop a solution to fix ALL of the problems. PROPAIL was the solution and it has been field tested for many years with great customer satisfaction.
The D Shaped Jug
At the heart of it all is our patented D Shaped product jugs that hold the right amount of product component. The jugs are rigid, not flimsy, so they can withstand rough treatment. The beauty of it all is that the jugs perfectly fit inside the mixing pail with a notch to hold the mixer. The customer only needs a power tool to run the mixer, everything else is self contained.
Multi-Purpose Mixing Pail
Moreover, the mixing pails also serve as a heavy duty shipping container allowing the manufacturer or distributor to ship only one package, saving both on handling and shipping cost/complexity. If the customer orders a pallet, the pails nest nicely into one another and are weatherproof, so they can be easily stored inside or outside, offering greater flexibility for the buyer.
